Empire of Ember Early Access

Get ready to fight, command, build and rule because Empire of Ember will be available for early access on March 31st. You can even get it at a discounted price if you get it during launch week. Make sure to add it to your wish list on steam, so you don’t forget and miss out on the discount.

What is Empire of Ember?

For those who haven’t heard of this game yet, Empire of Ember is a first-person RPG where you can build cities, command armies, raid dungeons, and rule a kingdom. While fighting, you will command your army, up to 100 units, into an all-out siege. Each city you choose to conquer is fully destructible, including your own. Building a solid defense is vital since your city could be lost and destroyed due to poor planning. Make sure you bring your builder, commander, and warrior hat to this game because everything you do has an impact.

This game features a story written by Patrick Kevin Day, a former lead writer for telltale games. If you have ever played a telltale game, you know every choice you make can change your outcome. Empire of Ember will have that same feature, along with multiple endings, so be careful how you treat your subjects. You never know what kind of end might come of it.

How Long Will it be in Early Access For?

The developers say this game should be ready to have a full launch closer to the end of 2021. The reason for the early access is to get the gamer’s feedback; they want you to tell them what needs fixing. The team over at Poleaxe Games seems very confident that this game can be polished in the next six months or so based on this quote from Kevin Jenkins, CEO of Poleaxe Games.

”We can complete all current features in about three months with an additional three months of balancing and testing. However, it’s important to us to hear from the community and incorporate that feedback into the game. We’d rather take extra time to make sure the whole experience is as fun as possible. Community feedback will help us determine what to prioritize.”

An Adventure Awaits You

Start your adventure on March 31st and experience almost everything this game has to offer before its official launch date. With early access, you will be able to play through dungeons, overland combat, siege combat, and specific primary campaign missions. So there will be plenty of fun waiting for you if you weren’t 100% sold on getting an early access game. If everything I talked about wasn’t enough to persuade you, check out the trailer down below to see the action yourself.

I plan on doing a review for the early access of the game, along with a review for the official launch once it has been polished. Also, be on the lookout for a Walkthrough on our new YouTube channel starting sometime this week. Make sure to check back frequently to stay updated on reviews and news in the gaming world.
