Get Ready for The Windblume Festival

Genshin Impact version 1.4 will launch on March 17, bringing you the Windblume Festival. What is the Windblume Festival you ask? Originally, it was to commemorate the liberation of Mondstadt, 2,600 years ago. Now, it is used by the citizens to express true love and bring people together to do all kinds of outdoor activities. You will get to experience numerous mini-games put together by The Knights of Favonius, and the Adventurers’ Guild. You can enjoy these mini-games with friends as you compete to win prizes. Some of the items you can get are the Windblume Commemorative Balloon and the Windsong Lyre along with a 4-star weapon called the Windblume Ode.

Mini-Games Galore

With so many mini-games to choose from, your time at the Windblume Festival will never be boring. From watching the video down below, it seems there will be at least 7 mini-games to play, all fun and challenging. Whether you’re dodging bubbles, shooting balloons, flying high in the sky, or just simply playing music, you’re sure to have a good time. The only requirement to enjoy these fun festivities is reaching level 20 and having completed the “Song of the Dragon and Freedom” quest.

New Story Quest

A whole new story quest will have you spending more time with Barbara, Noelle, Bennett, and Chongyun. This new type of story quest will have multiple endings as you learn more about the characters above and create lasting memories together. Along with the new quest you will also learn more about Abyss Order and the fate of the Traveler’s long lost sibling. As long as you continue your quest with “Bough Keeper” Dainsleif, you will encounter Abyss Herald and learn new secrets about the first ever Ruin Guard at Stormterror’s Lair.

New Playable Character

If story quest and mini-games weren’t enough, getting a new playable character will ice the cake. Rosaria, who we were first introduced to two months ago in Dragonspine, will now be a 4-star playable character. Rosaria’s weapon of choice is a polearm while using the power of Cryo. Some of her features will include the ability to maneuver herself behind enemies along with a Elemental Burst that unleashes a mighty slash attack. The Elemental Burst will deal high Cryo damage followed by constant burst of AoE Cryo damage to nearby enemies over time.

But Wait, There’s More

Even though this isn’t as exciting as some of the other news, I felt it’s the most important. New functions and optimizations will be added to help improve player experience. You will be able to hold up to five condensed Resin at any time. You will also be able to lower your World Level in both Single-Player and Co-Op Mode, in the hopes of making the game more enjoyable if it seems to hard.
